I’m going to disagree with you. I thought Jason’s version of the song was excellent in its simplicity and that’s why they were raving. I actually liked it best of all the rest which seemed over-affected by comparison. IMHO.

I agree. Syesha was shrieking and Carly was shouting, ugh! I was listening to Jason while doing homework and I thought it was really good. And I'm not a Jason fan.

You and I are in the minority on Jason. I loved the simplicity of his performance tonight. He actually made that schmaltzy old chestnut of a song sound meaningful.
