I haven’t but I know the vet has been doing research when he can. Today is surgery day so he was a little busy. :) He is very thorough and there’s no doubt in my mind he’ll do the necessary research. And we have one of the best vet schools an hour away- Michigan State University!
Yes, it is very good, especially with very hard to diagnose cases. My buddy Fion (pictured above), got some kind of horrible skin infection that just wouldn't go away, and my folks took him down to MSU for a round of testing.
He didn't like it, and it didn't seem to rule anything blatently in, but at least it ruled a lot of stuff out. Now he's better, after a long slow process.
Hey - I have a great idea for the Animal Planet Channel:
...they could do a reality-based TV series...
...about the vets of MSU and their mystery disease diagnostic unit...
...and then they could title the series...
..."Dog House"!
All humor aside, I hope your Daisy pulls through. I know how it feels.
“And we have one of the best vet schools an hour away- Michigan State University!”
That’s wonderful. I was fairly certain everyone was thinking along those same lines.
Continued good wishes for you and Daisy.
