I start for the phone several times a day to tell “Auntie” something. <<< Don't stop telling her the special things. There is no law written, that we must stop sharing the love we have, or feeling it after they are gone. In time, you will stop reaching for the phone, for now look at it and think what you want to say/share. You know she is gone, but the love she built has not. I don't know what is on the other side, haven't been there, but I promise you that I can still feel Mary, 26 years after she died, I feel the warmth of her love. There is no better gift that she could have given to me, than her love. She would have loved the internet and all the free quilt patterns. She sent me 2 new blocks, 2 weeks before she died, to see if I liked them enough to make. I cut the fabrics and she sat at her sewing machine and sewed them, she loved to sew. I often click on a site and have to stop, "for Mary", for it would have pleased her to see it. So, don't give her up, enjoy that love, it is rare and beautiful. A special hug is being sent your way, wish I was there.
