As a proud non-native West Virginia University graduate (School of Social Work/Criminolgy 1980) and a diehard Mountaineer fan who braved the freezing cold & witnessed an AMAZING season by WVU’s footbal team and, unfortunately, their loss to Pitt, only to see one of the greatest “interim” coaches ever — Bill Stewart, one hell of a good guy — lead them to an upset win over Oklahomo in the Fiesta Bowl, all I can say in this long winded sentence is: GO MOUNTAINEERS !!! Without the loss to Pitt, a perfect season would have been had as well as a likely win in “The Big Game”, so this has been a very, very good year for West Virginia. Now if they can only get rid of Rockefeller & Byrd.....onto “Sweet Sixteen”!!!!

Yup. This Kentucky fan is celebrating Duke’s early exit (Now I’m rooting the other two local teams, Louisville and Western Kentucky). BTW, I don’t think there’s an intact NCAA bracket ANYWHERE...
