While watching Scarborough's show this morning, Chris Matthews was on, and he made an unbelievable comment. Chrissy said that up until the time he joined the Peace Corps, from grade school through Duke University, he never had one black student in his classes!
I simply find this unimaginable, yet it all made sense. He's simply unwilling to call Barack out for throwing his grandmother under the bus, because he feels guilty for living in his lily white world.
Add Chris Wallace to the list. He was on Fox & Friends this morning basically saying he doesn’t understand what the problem is with Obama’s “typical white person” comment.
And now we have a black man being praised for his "honesty", when in actuality he threw his grandmother under the bus.
I'm surprised his grandma didn't have a public crush on Bull Connor, George Wallace, or Robert Byrd. I mean, isn't that what the "Typical White Person" has "bred into them"?
I grew up in the 50’s and went to a racially mixed highschool from 1960 to 1965. I bet I spent more time with blacks during my teen and adult years than Obama has in his whole life. I’m also sick of being lectured to about race relations, especially from a guy who obviously can’t stand his white heritage, and takes every opportunity to knock it.
Matthews described how, as he prepared to join the Peace Corp to serve in in Africa, he lived with a black family in the south.
What does a black southern family in America have in common with an African family except skin color? That’s just racist.
Yes, it is. What does a white middle class, small-town Iowan like myself have in common with a Harvard-centric, leftist, wealthy trust-funder except our skin color? Less and less all the time. Yet Barack "Redacted" Obama apparently considers us both to be "typical white people."
Chris Matthews and the object of his man-crush are both racists, and they each benefit from that racism.
