POI: An open DNC convention???

Posted on 03/21/2008 6:10:00 AM PDT by Peelod

If the superdelegates fail to give a majority to BHO or Hillary! on the first ballot, would the pledged delegates be free in their choice on subsequent ballots?

Is this the gorebot's strategy?

I believe that is accurate. Following the first vote, delegates are free to change their votes.

Anyone know anything about the 76-81 (depending on if Mich. and Fla. are allowed to participate?) “add-on” delegates, which I think are not picked until the convention? Could the add-ons end up being the ones to make the final choice?
