In one of his sermons, Obama's Reverend Wright accused the US Government of creating the aids virus to destroy the black population. That's an accusation of genocide on par with Hitler's crimes. Since the first cases of aid appeared in 1978, Rev Wright's accusation points to the Carter administration.

I doubt he knows that. He probably thinks it started under Reagan.
I expect he sees Carter (and other white dems) as just barely tolerable as opposed to Republicans. In other words, he’ll criticize Republicans in front of cameras, bur if it comes to Democrats he’ll hold his tongue until after he leaves the room.

From what I have read, the first AIDS case was in 1959 in St. Louis. HIV was probably in America as early as the 1950s or even earlier.
