We installed a doggie door in a sliding patio door in the bedroom.

We have so many critters out here I'd be afraid of what might find it's way into our home.

I wish I could do that though.

You have a valid point. My daughter had a doggie door on their lower level and one day she was in their upstairs bedroom and her little granddaughter said, "kitty, kitty" and Sandy looked and there was a racoon in their upstairs.
