ORLANDO, Fla. -- A new state-of-the-art roller coaster scheduled to open at Universal Studios Orlando theme park will hover over the heads of visitors as it winds the length of the park during customized adventures.

The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Roller Coaster ride will send visitors through the theme park and feature a record-breaking loop, Local 6 has learned.

Riders will also be able to make choices on their adventure.

"This is the first time you'll be able to create your own movie, select your own music score for the movie and do it -- all while you are riding one of the most state-of-the-art thrill rides," Universal Studios representative Mark Woodbury said.

I don’t like rollercoasters so this isn’t something I’d do.

City Walk, however, since the last time I was there I wasn’t 21 yet, well... that will certainly get some FReeping from me.

Especially if a good show will be going on at Hard Rock Live.

My husband and I just took our 2 grown up 18 year old and 21 year old kids to 6 Flags Magic Mtn 2 weekends ago - I was happy to be able to still ride all the rides at 48! (OK, I skipped the Superman ride, and closed my eyes thru the Tsaitsu thriller, but even rode Goliath!@)...To me this is one of the tests of aging - can you still do the thriller rides at a major theme park? Our kids loved it and my daughter thought that was the BEST way to celebrate her turning 21 (she’s NOT a drinker and didn’t want to do the alcohol thing@)
