Nope. One was busted on protest warrior back then. I’ve found a pattern for many of the trolls. They constantly claim that they are just middle of the road non partisan types just looking for the truth. They’ll fight you on all of the standard points of the war and when they are defeated on the wmd and ties to terrorism issue they’ll post a list of out of context quotes concerning “imminent threat” claiming that they themseves looked up each of the quotes themselves and vouch for them and their accuracy. The first one is Ari Fleicher saying “absolutely”. The list of quotes is a cut and paste from daily kos.
A new one I’ve found on motorcycle boards is one that asks for advice for a friend that has gotten hurt without insurance. After a bunch of whining and moaning they;ll post something about wishinh they had nationalised health care.
Today there is increased activity here.
While covertly reading some prog sites, I came across a few posts indicating that both the Clinton and Obama campaigns had encouraged their supporters to swarm the blogs and forums, but I thought it was only to be the political ones, and mostly the left-leaning. Maybe some have gone astray.
I subscribe to a couple of on-line newspapers, and when reading the comments to articles completely unrelated to politics there will be a lot of lefty stuff that doesn’t belong. The most bizarre are the ones in the sports pages!
The comments couldn't be any more retarded than the ones posted on the Fox Sports web site.
