I had nothing to do with it.
You can thank Mom and “6 Degrees”.
Those that were “bothered” by my post were either on the launch thread(s), or something else that caused me to believe you may be interested.

Launch thread and VERY interested.
I’m blessed to have many (former) astronauts in my group of friends and I am always amazed and enthralled by what they do.
Again - thanks (to you, Mom and 6 degrees).
G’nite.

What stunning photos. Endeavour is the youngest vehicle in the fleet but is 16 years old. Still it looks like the cleanest of the shuttles.

Ashley Dupree said I have a good taste.

"It's an updated take on the comfort foods of comments and articles, with a hint of ginger--that's so perky!--" For "perky" I prefer "Mary Ann" over "Ginger" but I guess it all comes down to taste preferences.

Noticed some new changes this AM. The comments tab now shows some of the comments, the brief tab now is the same as the comment tab was before.
I like this change.

You can no longer get to the “brief” view from the bottom of the page. So you have do to another click to restore that view.
This restricts the number of recent posts you can quickly see on your monitor because it’s a default to the more extensive “comment” view.
I don’t like it.
I don’t want to view the comments on a thread I’m not interested in.

Thanks for the pics. I was watching NASA TV last night when they were unlatching Japan's Kibo module from the STS-123 cargo hold. Awesome stuff.
Every time I see those astronauts working on that stuff, I think of what a great job they have...and what an enormous sinus headache they must have being in that microgravity environment!
Can't wait for the Ares & Orion missions! Reclaiming the moon will be such an awesome thing to share with my son. :-)

The default to the comments view will be discovered by trolls soon enough. In fact, how fun it was just a second ago, to go to the comments default (I had no choice, as you note) and see an image of a man with a gun in his mouth. That’s mild compared to other vile stuff I’ve seen get posted on threads.
Maybe someone can make up an obviously fun riff on the problem and make a silly poster that we can keep posting on threads until the idea gets across. Heh.

I thought my vision was going bad the other day when my tagline was in yellow.
Please don't tell me there were no yellow taglines, or I'll really worry. :)

If there’s a way I can get the “Comments” to default back to “Brief” it’ll be a nice thing.
