While we’re on photos, I discovered a problem today that I don’t know how to solve.
Its been nearly a year since the last time I tried to save photos from the computer to disc and now I get a message telling me that there is no disc in the drive and when I check properties it says that the disc in the drive is full but they’re new discs.
I’m using XP on an HP.
Cripplecreek:
Have you used the disc previously?
Is it a CD-R or CD-R/W? If CD-R/W it’s reusable. If CD-R and it’s been used and formalized, it can’t be written to again.
If it’s a new disc, check to see whether a quick format is necessary before you can write to the disc.
SecurityMama:
Regarding, getting photos from a cell phone to a PC, the easiest, least-hassle, way is to sent a picture message to your email account. I have Verizon with Get It Now. I simply go into Get It Now, then to My Pictures, select the picture you want to send then use the Sent Picture Message option. Enter your email address in the appropriate box and send it.
Once you receive the message in your inbox, the photo will be there as an attachment. Save it to a directory on your hard drive.
