To: Choose Ye This Day

Over the Rainbow? Why is that a “gay” song? It may be many things, but a “gay” song? Mebbe I’m missing something...

Also, Copacabana is no different than a hundred other songs not on this list (Billy, Don’t be a Hero... Shannon... etc...). The difference, I guess, is the artist singing the song?

I think it’s what the gays “latch on to” as a song they enjoy.

Its been said that Over the Rainbow is the gay national anthem but they forgot one song that is up there real close-
Where the Boys Are by Connie Francis.
She was at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco last year and blew the roof off the place when she sang it.
So to speak.
