Never been to Iraq so I would not know first-hand. Didn’t certain parts of Iraq have fairly wealthy people hanging around with lots of oil money to buy things like fancy cars and purebred dogs?

Pakistan has a Kennel Club, I don’t see why Iraq couldn’t have had one, at one time. Maybe they still do.

Dogs are unclean and are only allowed as guard dogs. Would those wealthy Muslims buy purebred pigs to surround themselves with?
