I’m one who believes that the issue of virus’, spam, intentional malware, bot nets, etc, is a problem that will only be solved in a world wide, backbone based solution.
Until that happens, as if, we’ll keep paying to inundate ourselves with layer, upon layer, of ever more expensive, so called, protection.

If you have any user backlash, just load up Compiz, and give ‘em wobbly windows, and a translucent cube for their baby and doggie photos. LOL
