Dr. Jorge Carpizo McGregor claims that "for the topic of abortion, there are very important scientific advances that prove that the DNA of chimpanzees is 99 percent identical to that of a human being. The difference between ourselves and chimpanzees is one percent, this quantity that makes the difference is the central nervous system."

The good Doctor.

[[MEXICO, February 29, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A former attorney general and human rights commission chairman is claiming that unborn children in the earliest stages of development are not human, and are in fact chimpanzees.]]

When the lawyer discovers where hte two extra Chromosomes go between the fetus and birth, and how literally billions of genetics differences between human and ape can occure in 9 short months, give or take a month or two- lemme know- till then, if the lawyer wants to beleive he is a chimp- that’s alright with me- who am I to argue with lawyer who has the intellect of an animal?

[[”That’s ridiculous,” said Dr. John Shea, medical advisor to Canada’s Campaign Life Coalition. “This is the most ignorant remark I think the man could possibly make. He must be totally ignorant of science.”]]

No Dr. Shea- that was probably the most intelligence you’ll get from the fella- don’t set your hopes too high in regards to the doc. you’ll be sadly dissappointed I’m afraid.

I read recently that the “1%” is way too low .. that when you strip out the inactive DNA and look at the portions in use the percentage is something like 5% to 8%..

Living proof that Dr. McGregor is a descendant from apes.

Has he even heard of DNA?

Neider- the differences amount to only what might be as low as 80% or less similar- those hwo originally did the testing knew of the innactive genes, and didn’t report on it because it conflicted with hteir ‘man and apes are close’ assertions-
