I do not know why, but it always scared the daylights out of me. There is something so raw and elemental about it, maybe, the Judeo-Christian fear of invoking things that cannot be controlled?

I have read Black Elk Speaks, this book left me sacred to the very core of me. It is raw and elemental. The ceremonies and rituals along with other strange and mysterious events were awesome.
