Many of the houses/apartments in southern China especially do not have furnaces. I have a friend in Shanghai who’s inside apartment temperature was 46 degrees F. Another friend in Guangdong, (southern China) was 51 degrees F inside. They are not liking this cold weather at all. At least in Guangdong, it is getting warmer. Shanghai is still very cool. But then again, Here in NY it is cold too.
