To: Londo Molari
Hey, even though Tom Cruise was in it, I thought War of the Worlds was pretty good. Pretty faithful to the original concept, too (just modernized).

I thought that Tom was very good in that movie... I wasn't crazy about the movie itself, but I think that it was mostly the little girl... On the other hand, Tom's "Daddy" character had the patience of a saint. Had I been "the Daddy" in that movie, I would have drowned the little girl after about the first 45 minutes of shrieking.

The Pendragon productions version of War of the Worlds was the most true to the book, but the effects are soooooo poor, and the budge so low, and the cast so sparse, that the movie sucks on ice. A remarkable accomplishment!
