as for depth, nothing beats Babylon 5 TOS.
I recently watched Bab 5 from beginning to end ... all seasons. The very best Sci Fi, particularly up to the end of the Shadows' war.

I always though B-5 was great. I did not really appreciate until I watched it two episodes a night straight through. It holds up so well. MJS is a genius.
