To repeat -

It’s a virus. Your family just catches the virus — maybe they don’t have a natural immunity, I dunno. But it’s NOT a genetic defect.

And, the meds are light-years better than when ulcers killed your dad (and almost killed my grandfather, mother, uncles, aunts, etc).

That is cool, not a genetic defect, I will have to give that some thought, it only seems to affect some but not all of the family.

My family history seems to follow yours, I am of English, Irish, and Scots descent, the gut problem seems to follow my ancestors from the Bath area of SW England, Somerset anyway in my Grand Mothers family. Thanks.
