*shudder*
It’s still “raw meat.” Therefore, gloves are mandatory! LOL!

DP wore gloves to cut up the jalapenos (mandatory if he plans to touch me later!), but Bill just used hot, soapy water with the chicken.

Looks like Tax-Chick told you the most important part. We’re known as the “Undead Thread,” or “The Flying Castle,” since we renovated the Smoky Back Room, once upon a time...
You’re most welcome to join us, if you like! Just don’t swim in the moat unless you check the calendar, and don’t go into the Lower Levels unless you can get a “guide,” as the walls and doors tend to shift a little.

Often, we just visit about this-and-that, with a strict rule against arguments, but sometimes things get really exciting and we colonize other planets and perturb Manitoba.

Gloves are a necessity, when it comes to jalapenos! I can’t even breathe in the same space they’re in unless I have a filter of some kind. Otherwise, my eyes water and my breathing gets funny.

I have found thru experience that a steak in the hard heart of an undead thread is mostus effectus.*

Steak is a common subject. Also Mexican food and my own Spanish Mass Choir.
John McCain mainly provokes shrugs, of the “How did we end up with THIS?” sort.

Yes, but if you move to the Zeus Colony, you must speak Greek.
Some child has put ghastly heavy metal music on my CD player. I must flee!

Did a little cleaning. Mom and Dad got back, they are officially retired. No planting yet, although the daffodils are pushing through the ground it is still to cold to plant most things. We are suppose to get more snow tonight.

You may flee, but flying is not permitted.
Go in pieces, and sin no more.

It’s how we got the name, “The Flying Castle!”

No, see, you got it all wrong...out here, in Space, there are no “laws” except the ones of the Castle, which are based on the Ten Commandments.
If we wanted all those alphabet organizations to have a hand in this, we never would have launched.
Still want to hang with us?

I’m hanging ... I’m in mate ... I agree to leave all structure, including leaves, behind (but reserve the right to peruse behinds of the female persuasion).
Must go now. Moving into the back yard in preparation for launch, removing all doors and windows to let critters take over house. (Doggies in state of confusion — doggies like living in house)

We have lots of critters here. Dogz, catz, birdz, goats, chickens...we also have orchards, fields, and “habitats” and we function on a 24-hour day, in three habitats.
Bob can tell you more about that, but we’re basically self-sufficient. I mean, we’ve been out here for a year or two, checking out the local asteroids.
You can watch all the behinds of the female persuation, and I’ll watch all the fronts of the male persuation. Deal?

I do not, myself, fly, since I’m the maternal type. However, plenty of low-gravity activity is available for the more adventurous.
