Dave has always kept himself in shape but look at Eddie Van Halen. He's living proof you can ruin your health and make and bounce back. I've seen some Eddie photos posted here through the years where Freepers ridiculed how awful he looked. Like a homeless man with rotten teeth

I also loved the Sammy Hagar era...it is a little known fact that Sammy Hagar is a conservative!
LOL! Alex Van Halen looks Asian, but there is a reason: the Van Halen’s mother is Indonesian....and their father is Dutch, but they were born in California, I believe.
Roth was insufferable in the early MTV days...a little of him went a long way. His “Just a Gigolo,” “California Girls” and “Yankee Rose” videos were so over the top I really believed he thought he was God’s gift to women and music.
Very interesting that the Van Halen brothers are half oriental!
