DLR was a better “fit” for Van Halen’s style but Sammy is a FAR better musician.

Camping it up. And Dave is in no way gay. It’s great that Eddie and Dave are getting along so well. This could have happened years ago. I blame Eddie. He was zonked out for years. Messed up his health so much he got a hip operation..... But no matter. Van Halen is back and can make a whole bunch of money they richly deserve.
And the fans are overjoyed

I saw DLR twice in concert and it was a blast both times. Talk about entertainment!

I have known people who worked with both of them. To be blunt, both Dave and Eddie are arrogant assholes.
Eddie at least has the advantage of talent.
