How many people here will actually vote for Hillary or Obama if McCain is the nominee?

I am not saying vote for a third party or stay at home, but I want to know who will actually cast a vote for either Hillary or Obama?

Since I live in Illinois, I really doubt that my vote is going to swing the state. If Illinois is even remotely close, that will mean enough unexpected things have happened between now and November that any predictions now about my actions then would be meaningless.

Thus, the only issue with my vote would be the message I want to send. Since I would hope that neither candidate gets a majority of the popular vote, going third-party would be the most logical approach. Since I don't know who will be on the ballot, I can't say specifically who I'd vote for. But not McCain, not Hillary, and not Obama.

Not me. I will hold my nose and vote for McCain but in my heart it will be a vote against Hillary or Obama rather than a show of standing with McCain.

At one point I had decided that I would write my own name in if McCain were the nominee. I have decided against that however, only because we have troops on the ground and they deserve better than either Clinton or Obama.

Got me there. I exchanged a series of emails last week with a prolife friend telling her he voted FOR embryonic stem cell research. She is an adult stem cell survivor...even got her pic taken with the president. Her position is that he is the "most" prolife candidate we can get. What are you gonna do? Give the election to the dems?

I’ll tell you what I won’t do. I won’t give my vote to a traitor to the Constitution.

I can't vote for Hillary. I think she is the devil.

I can't vote for Obama. I think socialism is stupid.

That leaves McCain. So, I am going to vote for him. I wanted Fred but I just can not vote for either Dem.

Are you sure that embryonic stem cell research is the only issue he isn't Pro-Life on?

No, I'm sure they would be worse. I would expect Republicans in Congress to fight a Dem President harder when he/she proposes liberal legislation and/or judges. It's a moot point. I won't vote for any of them.

I also consider the 2nd Amendment to be a Pro-Life issue.

In all fairness, Keyes said that Obama supported Partial Birth infanticide in Illinois.
