Did you know that Josh Sugarmann, of the Violence Policy Center, has a Federal Firearms License? And that the business address is that of The Violence Policy Center? You do now.
Also, given the ATFs recent crack down on FFLs, I wonder when the VPCs last inspection was? And how many transfers theyve done. If none, then that could mean theyre not a business and, per ATF, that is bad. If they have, theyre hypocrites.
Said FFL exempts them from the DC handgun ban, as well.

Do you have a link to the actual story instead of the comments?
Thanks
Ask Vince Foster if you can fish in the Potamic...
Try:

BTW: Did not see a Josh Sugarman listed anywhere at the VPC site, but it’s a shaky looking organization anyway.
Maybe they need a FFL in their heads because they fear, well, those whack gun nuts.
Bwahahaha! There aren't fish in the Potomac.
Thanks, Nick.
Your title and content do not match the link nor the source. Do you have a working link? If not, this should have been placed in “vanity” as a topic.
10-4 & understood: actually saw it on the aforementioned Extreme Mortman site, which is always reliable and a recognized DC site.
I sure hope this turns out to be real because Josh Sugarmann is the guy who argues that because gun ownership has diminished and gun owners are now a minority it is OK to restrict our rights.
Can you imagine that with any other group? - “its OK to do this to them because they are only a minority”
That said, I looked and couldn’t find a good source to support him having an FFL or being exempt from the gun ban he advocates.
Then ask yourself: if the BATFE has hugely cracked down on non-businesses having FFLs (issued for active brick-and-mortar for-profit business only), why does the head of a politically motivated non-profit group have one?
Bang!
Interesting! (Also, typical.)
Thanks
You’re welcome
I wonder what he would charge to do a transfer of a Class III gun for me?
