Val Kilmer is definitely my favorite Doc Holiday.

IMHO he was PERFECT in that role and KURT did a decent job of walking on water as Wyatt too.

TOMBSTONE was one of my favorite wild west movies right up there near UNFORGIVEN!!

Yeah, those are pretty much my two western faves from the ‘90s. HBO’s deadwood has been pretty good, too, but they didn’t film the third season, so the series has no ending. Frustrating.

Yes...great movies!

“I’ll be yore huckleberry...”

My favorite Westerns are (not necessarily in this order) except for #1:

1.) Open Range (underrated, IMO)

2.) The Searchers

3.) Unforgiven

4.) Tombstone

5.) High Noon

6.) True Grit

7.) The Man who Shot Liberty Valence

8.) Dances with Wolves (Before you jump on me...how can you not like the scenes with that mule skinner? It is almost like enjoying Full Metal Jacket just because of the Drill Instructor played by R. Lee Ermey...I know, it IS full of PC pap, but...I love the mule skinner character...:)
