yeah, but does he have the Kung-Fu grip?
He’s not playing himself.
I’ve always like him as an actor, but isn’t he a little old for the role?
Old...not convincing...I don’t know about you but I find it more difficult these days to watch movies with a lot of these liberal whackos who spend their off time bashing U.S. policies all of a sudden play American Heroes in films.
"... In the words of my generation, UP YOURS!"
SNAKE EYES:
“General...we need to stop the enemy from producing the plutonium for a nuclear weapon...”
GENERAL HAWK:
“Yes. But what is more important is stopping the global warming from the CO2 emissions. Plus, the whales are being harmed by the sonar emissions. We need to find a way to defeat the enemy without using our sonar.”
i hope they don't ham it up too much with costumes and special effects. just shoot blue and red lasers and blow up vehicles after the occupants safely eject. and is a sex scene between scarlet and lady jay too much to ask??? i think not!
comic-book guy would be pleased.

I like Dennis Quaid. Good actor.
GMTA....
At well over 50, Quaid is waaaay too old for a proper GI Joe.
It would be nice if they somewhere pointed out that G.I. Joe was modeled on a real person (Mitchell Paige, Sgt (IIRC), USMC), who did some amazing and heroic things on Guadalcanal during the battles for Edson’s ridge. Especially since IIRC the “new” version of the figure is supposed to be some amorphous “international doer of good”, with no US connection.
Probably too much to hope for.
Since G.I. Joe now means “Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity,” I wouldn’t recommend anyone see the indoctrination movies.
Who would ever have imagined a childhood icon becoming a U.N. weenie?
What about Sgt. Rock and those combat happy Joes of Easy Co.?
Dennis was a poor example of Doc Holiday....while Val Kilmer was the definitive Doc.
“I’ll be your Huckleberry”
Sgt Slaughter should be in the movie.
