NASA saw this coming several years ago in their long-range forecast (It's going to get hot first, but wait 'til next solar cycle to bundle up a lot!). With a strong knowledge of solar physics, I tend to agree with them as the model appears to be historically accurate. Check out this link:

Da Looney left never admits their faults. Dey just crank up the mike and yell louder. Mostly just arguments of ridicule,-- dey like to yell that we are "kooks", "conspiracy theorists", or just "out of the mainstream"
so while I'd be delighted to see Da Looney Left greatly embarrassed over this little goof-up I ain't gonna hold my breath wait'n for 'em to show up and make a red-face apology
I notice a lot of this solar data goes back quite some time. I kinda think da Looney Left has known all along dey was try'n to feed us a bunch of horse crap. But-- what's new?
