It's got to be well over 30 years since I've seen
Dr. Zhivago, but I don't remember it as particularly anti-commie in nature.
Neither side is appealing, and the poor Dr. is just trying to go along to get along. I understand the book is a good deal more anti-communist. At least the commies thought it was.

There’s supposed to be a pretty good Polish movie coming out about the 1920 invasion of Poland by the Russian Bolsheviks and how they were turned back. I don’t know the name, when it will be released, and if it will be dubbed into English.

Saw Doctor Zhivago when it came out in 1965. I was about ten at the time and the scene where he comes home to find that the Bolsheviks had invaded his house and given over the rooms to strangers made a big impression on me. I still hate Communists — everything I’ve learned about them since has just reinforced that first negative impression.
