That’s what happens when principle comes after “electability”, “Charisma”, “name recognition”, “Representatives can’t win” etc.

Now we don’t have any of those things and I would like to remind people that senators don’t have a great record of winning the white house either. I think one will this time but it will be a democrat senator.

And the two that won the white house, didn’t SURVIVE the white house.

Well, this year all 3 of the major candidates ARE senators. (But of course you already knew that!) We “get” to vote for a senator on the dim side with a D after his/her name, or to vote for a senator on the Republican side with a D after his name. Wheeee! Some choice.
