I don’t like McCain, never did.

I showed interest in Hunter early on. He never even got off the ground.

Fred Thompson caught my eye, but his total lack of interest in the job turned me off.

Among those remaining, Mitt Romney stood out to me as a conservative, family-values oriented candidate whom I could easily support.

I voted for him Tuesday night.

Now he is out. Will I vote for McCain? I don’t know yet.

More to your point:

I’m pretty sure I’m not a liberal. And I’m pretty sure I’ve done nothing personally to destroy the Republican Party or the conservative movement.

If you read what I wrote, I made it clear that I WAS NOT referring to the people who supported Romney AFTER all of the conservatives had dropped out.
