“The Evangelicals” didn’t vote for McCain. RINOs did.

Without “The Evangelicals,” we would have had President Gore for the past 8 years and a solidly Democrat congress since the 1930s.

Every national success conservatives have had since 1980 is due in large part to “The Evangelicals.”

The next time a conservative Republican wins a national election without “The Evangelicals’” support will be the first.

I agree with that. I also agree that they have been condescended to and betrayed by the Republican establishment. They have come to be counted on to do the heavy lifting come election time, and ignored every other time. 2006 was a shameful example of this. This time they acted irrationally in supporting Huckabee, who is a socialist. That is why I say that I blame them. I think that the GOP had it coming, however. The problem is, we are all going to suffer the consequences, RINOS (I am sick of that word) Conservatives, and Evangelicals.
