You did everything right except for posting pictures.

Looks like a good rifle for plinking or small game.

I noticed the people in the background didn’t seem to mind the critter firing.

Biggest I got in the closet is only some .59s .

it would entail me moving house because the ranges at which I could shoot one are 100miles+ away and I would have to spend a lot of my savings and I'm currently in between jobs,

Perfect!

Find a job near the gun range!

Or GET a job AT the gun range!

Sorry, annything over 50 Browning is under the NFA of 1934. That means the available weapons, such as the 20mm Lahti are highly controlled and registered with the goverment.

If they are still legal for you to purchase, I'd spend the treasure, move the house, family, business and get one.

Shoulders ony get sore after the practice range. When you’re shooting at *live* targets, you don’t feel a thing.

Mac1, why don’t ya just move to this side of the pond. Of course, you might be needed there to defend the fort in the not-too-distant future, if you know what I mean! - with all those (ahem) “peace-loving” immigrants moving in!

Actually, I’d try to find a way to move the 100 miles up near that shooting range and buy that gun! :-)

For sale, $125,000, 90mm:

Largest rifle available in the USA. That's an empty shell in the foreground.
