Many people do that. The older dishwashers couldn’t clean as well and people rinsed off the dirt. Or people stacked the dishwasher wrong and thought it was the fault of the machine.

You are correct on both accounts. His mom had an old washer that left dirt bits on the dishes, and I often stack it too full. My thinking is a $600.00 dishwasher ought to do a good job no matter how you stack it. But it "ain't true"!
