Destroy the eco system if wolves were removed completely? Up until a few years ago wolves were removed completely from the states.

We have our own two legged predators who keep the populations of game animals in check, we don't need wolves, and hunters don't slaughter ranchers cows indiscriminately(except for a few criminal types now and then, but nothing like wolves do). Wolves have no "right" to kill me or any other human. Just because it is their nature to kill doesn't mean we have to let them do it or forgive them for it. Your comment is full of liberal BS and shows your ignorance.

You may be a zoology "major" but that hardly qualifies you as an expert. Especially since your are citing Yellow Stone rangers as your evidence!

Wolves kill, whether for sport or food, and they kill anything they can, including children. Why didn't you cite the old saw that peta types always use? "There have been no documented cases of wolves attacking humans(and they always forget to add, "on the north american continent")" Wolves attack humans, plenty of evidence to back it up. As I said, they may have the right to food, but I have the right to not let them eat me or mine.

Um, these people study the animals and the effects their populations have on the Yellowstone ecosystem. And see #31.

And I never said wolves never killed children. If they’re hungry, they’ll go after them. Are we going to eliminate everything that can possibly cause the unfortunate death of someone? We’d have nothing left.

Oh, and you are? I didn't say I was an expert, just pointing out that I study zoology, the science of ANIMALS. My comment was not meant to say that wolves have the right to kill children. You're taking this way out of perspective. I just said they will go after them if they are hungry, I didn't say they were "justified" to do that. I'm just saying what they do....geez.

I was basing most of my stuff from a park ranger who claimed to have studied wolves, and I assumed he was reputable since he seemed to know what he was saying. As the real experts have shown me, I was incorrect, and the guy was not really viable. Sorry for the erroneous info.
