You move into wolf territory to raise cattle, then you need to allow for some lost cattle. If you don’t like it, go ranch somewhere else.

You go ranch somewhere else, but i’ll stay where my families been for a couple of hundred years now. Allot of these ranch's have been passed down from generation to generation. You don’t just go somewhere else.

Now it’s time to throw in my 2cents. First of i don’t care if the wolves go completely extinct. Man is the dominate predator on this earth now and wolves will always take a back seat to the needs of man in my book. We don’t need them to control Moose, deer or elk populations. We can do that just fine without them. Just increase the number of tags for game animals who have over populated and hunters will be more than happy to fill those tags. Where my place is ( West TX ) coyotes are the main problem, i’ll lose 2-3 young calves a year, not counting the damage done to my deer and turkeys, which i also depend on as a source of income through my guided hunts. Not only do i kill every coyote i can, my pumpers as well as my hunters have standing orders to do the same. If people feel the need to save wolves, thats fine, just do it on your own property and keep them off mine.

Interesting, do you feel the same way about tigers, lions, sharks, bears, cougars, cheetahs...?
