No, but the youtube video you posted seemed to imply it. Whatever happened to the real cowboys and shepherds that used to protect their herds even if it meant sleeping out there with them?
WE have way more wolves than we need in Alaska but everyone is glad they are here; just as long as they don’t make the moose go extinct which usually happens. When you start seeing packs of 20-30 along the riverbank; it’s time to exterminate them, let the moose come back up and then let wolves run them down again. No such thing as a balance of nature because we are what’s outta balance. Without active wolf control & game management; ungulates stagnate to 10% of what the land can support and everything goes hungry, including the local people.
Ariel control is good but bounties that encourage trappers much more successful. Hanging outta a cub with a 12 guage when its minus 40 is not all that much fun; takes alot of skill & dumb wolves that don’t hide in the trees.
See if these picts post

Read all my post. Especially the one above yours.
The ranchers for a long time were not even allow to harrass the wolves that were killing the livestock. The goal of the wolves is to put ranchers out of work and close down hunting. I know one rancher that stay with his herd for months living in a wall tent. Constantly patroling but the wolves still put him out of business because he was not allow to shoot or trap the problem wolves. So what is your solution keep allowing hard working ranchers to go under. Have you ever worked a ranch?
