My fox terrier, descended from a wolf btw, kills for sport also...the damnable squirrels breeding by the dozens that are so voracious that they’ll literally eat our fence, and forget any birds...their feeders are WRECKED!

So it really depends on your point of view of sport or vermin control.

Somehow I don’t think wolves have some kind of nerve center they gather around telling them elf, deer or whatever are dwindling...

“Hey Ralphie...better take it easy....there’s only 25 deer out there on the west end of the range...we don’t wanna kill ‘em all off!”

Wolves are predators no different than tigers, lions, sharks, bears or any other flesh-eater created the way they are.

I loathe hyenaes...but I wouldn’t say they’re somehow “useless” by any stretch!

Mosquitoes?

Maybe...but each and every species was put here for it’s own reason.

What the whole problem with wolves is back in 95 when they shove these wolves down our throat we were promised that once management goals were meet the wolves would be kept in check. The mangement goals was meet 2002 each year we are promised that the wolf hunting and trapping season is coming. Mean time each delay the wolf population skyrockets. Here it is 2008 wolves need to be thin down but the PETA type keep suing and stopping the season on the wolves. The deer and elk are getting slaughter. Each year more hunters quit and wolf population keeps skyrocketing. That is it in a nut shell open the season on wolves and allow us to keep them in check.
