The snow on the top of his car was just Thursday's accumulation. Gordon was skiing at Alpental, which he said "was in heaven for two days (Monday and Tuesday), but we started running out of supplies, and there are only so many frozen pizzas you can eat, then it's time to go home." Skiing was closed on Thursday.

Mr. Gordon must be snow blinded or something, because I just cannot see the logic here.
