I’ll bet a pet raccoon is a handful!
I have seen young ones at my daughter’s..They were into everything..one would sleep in an empty birdbath in her atrium.I know children would love them!
I have noticed nuzzling and grooming going on so I know romance is in the air.

Indeed they are, lots of fun though. As they mature things get a little hairy. We feed our raccoon dog food, he would help himself anyway, he would sit down by the bag, near a bowl of water and feast away, it was a riot.
The kids would put a leash on him and walk him around just like a dog! He was free to climb trees, run and play around as much as he wanted. Finally, the day came he wanted freedom, we open the door and left it open for him to come and go at will, this went on for a week or so, then he was off on his own. There was a creek near by for him to fish and find crabs to eat.
Ah, I hope you can see the little ones. The parents will bring the babes around, well mom will.
