Check this out, it has an honesty I know, I grew up with it. Progress is just movement, and in the end it is not always forward. The values we’ve set aside, are not lost, just become ‘unimportant’, in today’s pursuit of careers that can disappear overnight, peer group pressure that give you bland conformity, and the drive for money which becomes ever more worthless. We do need more dirt roads, more self challenge, more family, more church, and more respect for each other and for ourselves. I vote for more dirt roads, like the one I grew up on.

Very nice page. I grew up on a dirt road too. It was a good place for a kid to grow up.
