It is fun to poke fun at Code Pink and the rest of the so called antiwar movement, but in a sense they are far better than we have been about getting their viewpoints out there. Code Pink is all over you tube with their propaganda. We have little to no content on line to counter this.

Groups like the Bush Commission come out with this bogus indictment of Bush for War Crimes and no one is out there saying that the group behind this is Not In Our Name which was founded be a member of the Revolutionary Marxist Party. Yet, college students active in antiwar activities are being spoon fed this garbage unchallenged.

Also, a group called the Center for Public Integrity came out with a new thing now saying Bush lied 925 times. So that is the latest mantra of the antiwar crowd. No one challenges these figures or even bothers to find out who is behind these so called Centers. Moreover, no one is out there saying these figures are bull because lies are supposed to be intentional. You cannot say someone lied because they were misinformed about a threat that was overstated. And, Saddam himself told his interrogators he overstated his weapons programs because he feared an attack from Iran.

Off the topic here, but why didn't Saddam just invade Iran? He invaded practically everyone else and started two wars, why didn't he just go in and pound Iran? After all, in the Iraq-Iran war, Iraq kicked the Iranians' butts for the first few years. Iran's army sucks under the mullahs (under the Shah it was the 8th best in the world), and in hindsight, if Iraq and Iran went at each other again, it's interesting to speculate as to what would've happened as we watched two scumbags fight with each other: Either Saddam blows the crap out of Iran (crippling their nuclear facilities, perhaps?), or he re-starts his own nuclear program and then we have two sets of idiots racing for the bomb. That would've been a real mess. Of course, were that the case, it would make a compelling argument for us to go in and squash BOTH regimes and their nuclear programs....
