Surprising to see Erik win the shooting challenge. Usually women are better at that.
What I didn’t understand is— what would have happened if one of them “accidentally” hit the others target?
If it would’ve counted as a hit, then the should have picked which one of them they wanted to win, and all shot for that persons targets. Erik wouldn’t have had a chance.
As I’m sure you noticed, Jeff’s “high powered rifle” was nothing of the sort. Seemed to be compressed air or spring action, probably compressed air. Very doubtful that the projectile — which you could easily follow with your eye — would hit the exact same spot twice even if the “gun” was bolted down.
I think it was more about being “on line” with the target and luck than the ability to aim.
Hee...I have to admit, I’m better with my rifle than my revolver.
I absolutely LOVED tribal council last night, and I normally fast forward through it (except last two times - didn’t want to miss the gloat before the fall). Amanda played it perfectly re the idol. Show ‘em you don’t have it, and when you realize they’re all about to boot you, use it. The look on the faces of the “fans” when she pulled it out was priceless, and you could tell the jury was onboard with the maneuver.
There’s talk on the Sucks and TWoP Boards that Cirie DID know that Amanda had the idol and voted for Amanda anyway rather than Alexis to avoid what she feared most - a tie. If the Fans suspected Amanda MIGHT have the idol, they would probably have switched their votes to Parv and not told Cirie; Parv and Amanda were voting for Alexis; if Cirie had voted Alexis rather than Amanda, there’s the tie again; vote Amanda and you avoid the tie. And I give her props - she came right out and told Amanda - there’s nothing I can do to avoid a tie but vote for you - I don’t WANT to vote for you, but I’m now vulnerable if there’s a tie and I’m not going to risk going home for you.
