Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, its Thursday and it’s been a LONG two weeks since our last show! But fear not, Survivor is back and your’s truly is here with my picks for the week. So without further ado, here is your:

A battle of the sexes begins to emerge, as some women contemplate joining forces to turn the tables on the strong men. One Castaway, alone and isolated, takes desperate measures to stay alive in the game. One Favorite is brought to tears when her loyalty and integrity are questioned.

Every preview shown for the last two weeks only shows one challenge. And the sharp eyes over at SurvivorFever.net has seen Jeff Probst standing next to the Immunity Idol in vidcaps. So we don’t have any idea what or even if there is going to be a reward challenge this episode. I think that there will be one, but what it will entail and who wins, I have no idea. Who knows, it may be another boring food auction where everybody wins.

The Title of the Immunity Challenge is “The Gauntlet“. The object of the challenge appears to be have your team race across a very unstable elevated course while at the same time your opponents try to knock you off the course by swinging sand filled bags at you. We know that Jason takes a nasty fall but will this knock him out of the game? I doubt it. I think we have seen all the medical evacuations and quitters we are going to see this season.

There has been rumors floating around the web (hinted at during the bootees interviews) that Ozzy, Amanda and Cirie have secretly plotted behind the scenes to throw challenges in order to boot off the people who are not in their original alliance. This seems to be a valid rumor if you look at who has been booted since the tribal mixup. Joel, Chet and Tracy. At the same time James and Parvati (Ozzy, Amanda and Cirie’s original alliance) over on the other tribe are the odd ones out. Even with Jonathan being removed for medical reasons, and Kathy quitting, it’s still James and Parvati against Eliza, Alexis, Jason and Natalie. So this adds even more weight to Ozzy and Amanda throwing challenges in order to protect James and Parvati. I see this happening yet again, only this time Ami is the bootee.
