Not sure what happened, but last week was a sad week for virtually all the Tiggers, or tigers made into cartoons.

First, the Detroit Tiggers succeed in being one of the greatest stories of choking in a pennant race of all time.

Then, the Missouri Tiggers succeed in losing to Nebraska at home, having clobbered that same team last year.

Last of all, the LSU Tiggers lose for the first time in decades at night in their home stadium against a QB who mostly handed the ball off.

Sigh. I dunno what Calvin and Hobbs are doing but this is a bye week for our Bayou kitties so they'll have a little extra time to get it together before the Auburn game.
