Looks like I will have a new family member soon. This fella showed up at R's back during the ice storm, starving, limping and extremely skittish. He is doing much better and is really very friendly. We came to the conclusion that he belonged to someone at one time and was either lost or left. He wants very badly to be an indoor cat. R already has 2 indoor cats, so looks like we're going to try this one at my house. Of course, he will have to prove that he can have proper indoor manners, and there will be a trip to the vet in the near future for appropriate modifications.
.

Previous tenant at this house had a manx.
Idiot left her behind.
(Anyone know the manx personality? They like people, and take to certain people over others..)
Well, she’s taken a shine to myself and my missus.
The possum I had to vaporise was after her.
She was scared of the possum until I went outside, then she wanted to do battle because I was out there and thus threatened by the possum.
(Manx = guard cat)
Hopefully the little fella there can be humantrained.
Good luck, And good to hear from you.
Hiya SL, nice kitty. How does it fare with possums?
Yayyyyyy, sl!!!
OMG, cutest cat ever; I want him... but we have so many. He looks soooooo sweet -— I hope he behaves inside :)
I completely understand about the shoulder. My right one and upper arm gave out and I could barely get through last week. Agony with the pain. I couldn’t even hold a sign at the tea party. But I sat with my friend’s baby and signs and everyone could still see the words because of the way we propped the signs up.
Now, I need more needles (accup), more BioFreeze, etc., more herbs .....
