And hopefully proud like they likely are. Pretty amazing game, although it was both defenses that dominated (who would have guessed 7-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter), and in the end the Giants pulled the upset.
It would have been nice for the Pats to shut up the insufferable members of the old Dolphin team, but heck.....it will happen someday.
Oh, I'm certain of that. They're a close-knit family. I saw that Archie said in an interview today, (Paraphrasing)
He couldn't be prouder. That he, never thought about his sons even playing college ball, much less pro football, much less winning Super Bowls or MVPs. He said, it wasn't in the plan, we just tried to raise our kids, just like other parents raised their kids. The he said, I just can't explain it, or explain what I'm feeling.
LOL. Well, you know some of them are getting on up there, some of them have already gone on. Maybe its one of those things that is just supposed to stand until they're all gone. I don't mind them be proud of what they did. Heck, that no team has equalled their accomplishment in ... what.. 35 years? is a testament to how hard it is to win 'em all.
