[Letitring]

I know. We seem to be headed toward dark places. I can’t bear thinking about it. Sorry if my optimism grates but I just can’t seem to wrap my mind around all of this.

I love optimism, I try hard to not let this stuff get me down, try hard to look for good things.

I also want to be careful what I am optimistic about. It has to be something good, true, and right. None of which has much to do with Obama's past and his own words of what he wants to do.

I do hope he changes his mind and governs as a moderate, but am ready to fight (optimistically!) if he doesn't.
