While we/I am on the subject of ‘power pumps’. As you well know, buy the very best you can possibly afford. Soft leather in a great shade. Make certain they are of a height that flatters your leg and will be comfortable for you. No sense in wearing ‘high’ heels you can’t walk in.
Maintain your investment. Get the proper polish for the particular leather. Remember to have them resoled and reheeled, if necessary.
Nothing tells more about a person than the condition of their shoes. :)

Indeed. The silliest thing in the world is a woman teetering on heels that are so high she is forced to inch along using her arms for balance just to stay upright while crossing the floor. Starlettes on the red carpet are some of the worst offenders.
